Bangalore, June 11, 2025 -- Prestige Group, one of India’s most reputed and diversified real estate developers, has announced an ambitious expansion plan for FY 2025-26. The group is set to launch 25 new residential projects across key Indian cities, including Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Goa. With a total developable area of 44.8 million square feet, these upcoming projects are expected to generate a gross development value (GDV) of ₹42,120 crore.
Among the highlights are new launch projects in Bangalore, a city where Prestige Group continues to maintain a dominant market presence. These launches will cater to various buyer segments, from mid-income housing to luxury developments, reinforcing Bangalore’s position as a top destination for real estate investment in India. With the city witnessing robust demand for plotted developments and integrated townships, Prestige aims to meet the evolving preferences of homebuyers in the region.
The upcoming launches follow a relatively soft financial year for the group. In FY 2024-25, Prestige Group launched 26.28 million square feet of residential space valued at ₹26,222.8 crore. However, delays in approvals impacted timelines, and total sales bookings dropped to ₹17,023 crore-a 19% decrease compared to the previous year. Unit volumes also fell by 38% to 12.58 million square feet, or 5,919 units sold.
Despite these setbacks, the company reported a notable rise in realisations. Average residential prices climbed 36% year-on-year to ₹14,113 per square foot, while plotted development prices surged by 50% to ₹7,167 per square foot. On the financial front, Prestige Group posted a net profit of ₹467.5 crore, down from ₹1,374.1 crore the year prior. Total revenue also dipped to ₹7,735.5 crore from ₹9,425.3 crore.
Looking forward, Prestige Group is bullish on growth, targeting ₹27,000 crore in pre-sales for FY 2025-260-a 59% increase over the previous year. Early signs are promising. Its flagship launch, Prestige City Indirapuram in Delhi-NCR, has already achieved ₹6,500 crore in bookings within the first quarter alone, out of a projected ₹9,000 crore GDV.
As part of its long-term strategy, Prestige Group is doubling down on high-potential locations and demand-driven products. The upcoming residential projects in Bangalore will include integrated townships, premium apartments, and plotted layouts, appealing to both end-users and investors seeking growth in South India's most dynamic property market.
With more than 300 completed and ongoing developments across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and leisure verticals, Prestige Group continues to redefine the Indian skyline. The group remains committed to delivering quality, innovation, and long-term value to homebuyers and stakeholders nationwide.
